FUERZA BRUTA

In this exhibition I explore the relationship between invisible forces and material through personal
experiences of immense loss and pain. 

Minimal yet powerful interventions bring about a new identity to the objects and materials I use,
transforming simple wooden blocks, timber posts and sheets of plywood into deep and resonant carriers
of meaning.

Through these “BRUTAL FORCES” I want my sculptures and materials to speak, torture them until they
scream the truth. The last breath, the instant the soul parts the body, the precise moment your heart
cracks open, the weight of regret; invisible yet ever-present sentiments transferred, registered and
contained in these wooden sculptures.
